Thrive Pet Healthcare is looking to add a Veterinary Medical Oncologist to the South Atlanta Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center's team. A 24/7 ER center with robust referral relationships serving the Southern Atlanta community. SAVES emphasizes caring and compassion, forging strong bonds with pets, families, veterinarians, and staff. In 2017, we transitioned to a modern, well-equipped 14,000-square-foot facility. Our facility features cutting-edge equipment, including Direct Digital Radiography, CT Scanner, and Ultrasound. We have an in-house lab and pharmacy to facilitate comprehensive care.
In the town of Fayetteville, Georgia, you can enjoy a blend of small-town charm and city conveniences, located a short drive from downtown Atlanta. Thrive Pet Healthcare operates a network of 400 clinics across the country, creating an exceptional community of veterinary professionals and resources. We are proud of our Specialty Directors Board, designed to connect specialists across the country for networking, community and mentorship as needed.

Provide high-quality veterinary oncology care as part of a multidisciplinary team. Support and collaborate with peers to advance patient outcomes, education, and research within Thrive Pet Healthcare. Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in the Medical Excellence and Education initiatives.
Qualifications- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
- State Veterinary Board License in good standing for the hiring state
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
- Board Certified Veterinary Medical Oncologist or Residency Trained Veterinarian
