Surgical Assistant, Operating Room Nurse
Job Description
Avery Partners is looking for a Registered Nurse with circulating experience. This position is for a very busy orthopedics practice, and they would love a RN with experience working in the surgery center operating room. The schedule is full time hours with a 4-day, 10-hour shift. Start time would be 6:45am.
Job duties will include:
- Prepping patients and the OR for surgery
- Charting the procedure into EMR
- Pre and post op care for patient
- Assist the provider with tasks during surgery
- Maintain a sterile environment in OR
- Monitor patients vitals during surgery
- Patient education
- Ability to communicate with family members or care team
Requirements:
-At least 2 years of operating room experience
-Must have active RN license
-Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
