We are seeking a full-time Medical Billing Specialist to join our team in an on-site role, based in Fayetteville, GA. The Medical Billing Specialist will be responsible for submitting and following up on claims with insurance companies, addressing claim denials, and managing payments. The position involves reviewing medical records for coding accuracy, applying ICD-10 codes, and ensuring compliance with billing regulations.

The role requires collaboration with the billing team to ensure efficient and accurate payment processes.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology with experience in documentation and insurance claims
• Proficiency in handling insurance protocols, resolving denials, and working with Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payers
• Familiar with ICD-10 coding
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to ensure accurate billing and compliance
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
• Previous experience in a medical billing
• High school diploma or equivalent required
