Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support a busy probate, estate administration, and conservatorship practice. This is an on-site, temp-to-perm opportunity for a professional who is organized, dependable, and comfortable handling sensitive financial and legal information.

Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys and paralegals with probate and estate administration matters
  • Communicate with financial institutions to obtain account statements, valuations, and records
  • Organize, track, and maintain asset documentation and case files
  • Prepare asset inventories and supporting materials for legal review
  • Assist with court filings, recordkeeping, and case management updates
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards
Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or probate support professional preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced office environment
