Summary ofJob Duties
The Facilities Stewardship Program Manager provides governance of campus facilities data and condition assessments to support capital planning, risk analysis, and institutional priorities. This role oversees the evaluation and documentation of higher education spaces and facilities, focusing on physical condition, functionality, and regulatory compliance. The program manager ensures accurate, actionable data through audits, surveys, and integrated reporting. Responsibilities include leading the development of standardized data models and dashboards that inform project scoping, prioritization, and long-term capital planning.
Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Interior Architecture/Design, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or closely related field
- Experience in facilities/space analytics; implementation of the NCES criteria, and performance of site audits in support of capital planning
- At least three years of experience in facilities assessment, space audits, campus planning, or higher education space data collection
- Experience interpreting blueprints and floor plans
- Working knowledge of FICM space typologies, and NACUBO functional categories
- Experience developing data strategies or implementing database solutions; building repeatable, standards-based reports/dashboards
- Documented team leadership and cross-functional collaboration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as Microsoft Data Analytics, Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office scripting and DAX for Power BI data modeling
- Experience with benefit–cost analysis (BCA), life-cycle costing (LCC), NPV modeling, and risk-adjusted capital prioritization
- RFP authorship and coordination of consultant work
- Experience mapping lab function to NACUBO categories in collaboration with research stakeholders
