Department: CAPS Training Summary ofJob Duties:
The psychologist duties include providing individual, couple, and group counseling; emergency mental health services; mental health consultation with the University community; outreach presentations and activities; clinical supervision of Health Service Psychology interns in an APA-accredited internship program, practicum students in multiple disciplines, and when applicable, psychology postdoctoral clinicians seeking licensure; clinical disposition activities; staff meetings; coordination of specific areas (e.g., group, outreach, training, embedded, eating disorders, assessment clinic);
clinical documentation; psychological assessment services as part of CAPS assessment clinic initiatives; obtain and maintain licensure as a psychologist in the state of Arkansas; and other duties as assigned by CAPS leadership. The position has routine shift hours, infrequent overtime, or shift rotation.
This position holds significant responsibility as a “remote essential” role. In challenging situations such as inclement weather or emergencies, when the Pat Walker Health Center or campus needs to close, CAPS psychologists will be on standby to serve the campus…
