Pay: $17 - $20 an hour - Full-time

Job Summary

Ensure facilities are safe, functional, and clean by performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting across multiple systems. Responsibilities include basic plumbing and electrical repairs, drywall patching, painting, HVAC maintenance, and general grounds upkeep.

Applicants must be available to work Wednesday through Sunday (weekends are required).

Pay rate will depend on experience and may range from $17 to $20 per hour.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform work in any Mount Sequoyah building or property.
• Conduct routine inspections, change filters and batteries, and perform annual and bi-annual preventative maintenance.
• Fix doors, windows, locks, plumbing fixtures (sinks, toilets), electrical switches, and lighting.
• Paint, repair drywall, patch concrete, and maintain flooring.
• Perform snow removal, cleaning of roofs or patios, and pressure washing
• Garden and grounds maintenance as assigned.
• Report low inventory supplies, materials, and equipment in a timely manner.
• Maintain company vehicles.
• Follow proper safety procedures.
• Assist in energy conservation measures.
• Assist other team members in physical operations as well as setting up spaces when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong diagnostic skills to identify and fix issues efficiently.
• Ability to interact professionally with tenants and staff.
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision and be flexible with job responsibilities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.), climb ladders, and work in varied environments.
• Ability to remain stationary, occasionally standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
