As a Journeyman Lineman you will build multiphase energized facilities. Experience required is a fourth year, second, six months. You will report to the crew Foreman.

What You’ll Do
  • Work on utility poles and fixtures in energized situations
  • Write field switching and clearance orders
  • Assist Foreman in coordinating jobs
  • Follow all customer specifications and company safety policies
  • Complete required company training, including safety training
  • Perform administrative duties as required
  • Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership
What You’ll Have
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in the electrical powerline industry
  • 3 years’ experience as an Apprentice Lineman
  • All skills required for a Lineman A
  • Experience working on distribution facilities
  • Understanding of controlling equipment, line design, fuse coordination, switching tagging, and grounding policies
  • Experience working unsupervised in all aspects of utility line work

Work Environment
  • Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
  • All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
  • Work includes prolonged and repeated lifting (including overhead, up to 50 lbs), standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, crouching, and crawling
  • Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
  • Working safely requires quick/accurate hand–eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety
Legal Stuff
  • Pass pre‑employment, random, post‑accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
  • Provide valid U.S. work authorization documents for E‑Verify
  • Satisfactory results of pre‑employment background check results
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Pre‑employment medical fit‑for‑duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card
