The Electrician I is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures within the campus. This role requires a thorough knowledge of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. May work on campus generators and maintain associated records.

Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License according to ACA 17-28-304
• The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
• At least four years of experience in electrical trade
• Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least six years' experience in electrical installation, maintenance and repairs
• Successful completion of an Electrical Apprentice Program
• Experience in control technology – fire alarms, access control, and cameras
