Hay Creek Hotels is seeking a amicable, self‑motivated and energetic Restaurant Server to provide a pleasantly unforgettable dining experience to all our guests.
The Stonebreaker restaurant is opening October 2024 and the Stonebreaker Hotel will be opening January 2025. The Stonebreaker, formerly the Pratt Place Inn was first opened in 2008 as an independent, locally owned and operated boutique hotel located on 144‑acres at the top of Markham Hill, one of the Seven Hills in Fayetteville Arkansas. The 18,900 sf building has been transformed to offer an extensive Food & Beverage program with significant outdoor dining and private dining options, and a Private Members Only Club Lounge.
Alongside the Inn stands the historic Pratt Place Barn, a venue that has been restored to continue hosting some marvelous events. All surrounded by a network of nature trails that allows guests to explore the property.
- Greet, direct, seat, and serve guests in accordance with company service standards.
- Be thoroughly familiar with menu items, promotions offered, hotel offerings, and related materials.
- Complete designated side work efficiently and thoroughly. Clean and maintain all working areas and equipment.
- Assist in resolving any complaints, and communicate disgruntled customers to the appropriate supervisor.
- Reconciliation cash, accurately charge credit cards, and make appropriate cash deposits at end of shift. Complete all transactions using the Point of Sale system.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must feel comfortable with the use of technology (integrated point of sale system - Aloha, and Open Table reservations system)
- 1 year serving experience in a high volume full service restaurant
- Prior Wine/Liquor knowledge no required, but a plus.
- Ability to work in a constructive, team working environment with a positive, upbeat and customer-focused attitude.
- Flexibility to work nights or mornings, weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal days (i.e. town festivals).
