Speech Language Pathologist

Overview

We are seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our growing team of clinicians. The position is open to both experienced SLPs and newly minted SLPs. We strive to deliver the highest quality of care with compassion, excellence, and reliability. Kids Unlimited Learning Academy (KULA) is an early intervention day treatment clinic for children with special needs. Services include developmental screenings, therapy evaluations, and habilitation services for eligible children.

• Provide speech-language pathology services to children referred for Early Intervention Day Treatment, in collaboration with the treatment team.
• Participate in developmental screenings and therapy evaluations as part of the care plan.
• Collaborate with licensed occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other clinicians, as well as nurses, to meet each child’s needs.
• Communicate with families and care teams to ensure coordinated, child-centered care.
• Document progress and participate in ongoing program development to support children from birth to Kindergarten, with potential expansion to school-age children during summer months.

• Master s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Current Arkansas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• One year of successful experience in a similar position or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
• Ability to work with children from birth to 7 years old who are at risk.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills including databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and Internet software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and policies; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and apply common sense to problem-solving.

Salary: $80 per hour
