Springwoods Behavioral Health is an affiliated 80‑bed acute care behavioral health facility located in Northwest Arkansas and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Northwest Arkansas since 2009. Our mission is simple but profound: to provide compassionate, comprehensive and effective care to individuals facing mental health crises for ages 8 and up.
ResponsibilitiesOur Mental Health Technician promotes and restores patients' health by ensuring patient safety, collaborating with multidisciplinary team members, and providing physical and psychological support to patients. The Mental Health Technician functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, interaction, and role modeling to patients. Position SummaryThe Mental Health Technician works under direct supervision to provide clerical and patient care activities in the treatment and care of patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions. Manages behavioral problems and facilitates education. Actively participates as a member of the treatment team and performs other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED with one year experience within a behavioral health or hospital setting or any combination of education and related experience preferred.
