• Design and teach academic courses in areas of content expertise

  Conduct independent or collaborative research in the area of clinical expertise
• Assist in the development of innovative teaching methods and curricula

• Doctoral degree (post-professional or DPT with advanced clinical specialization)
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a licensed physical therapist
• Teaching, research, or clinical experience in cardiopulmonary disorders, neurological disorders, and/or pathology
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Physical therapy license or eligibility for licensure in Arkansas

• Advanced (non-clinical) Doctorate
• Established scholarly agenda
• Three (3) years of prior teaching experience in a physical therapy academic program
• Active involvement in professional activities at the local, state, or national level
