Springwoods Behavioral Health, an 80-bed behavioral health facility located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, provides acute inpatient treatment for adolescents, adults, and a specialty program for women. The hospital also offers outpatient treatment. Our six‑acre campus is adjacent to a 123‑acre Audubon Wildlife and Bird Sanctuary, which is held in perpetuity and cannot be developed from its natural state. This provides Springwoods with a peaceful setting for those embarked on the road to recovery.

This position provides administrative and clinical supervision to all nursing staff on designated units. The Unit Manager is an accomplished nursing leader who serves as a liaison to Nursing Administration, department directors, and administration to ensure coordinated and efficient operations of his/her designated units.
The position may assume an administrative role in the absence of the Nursing Supervisor or Chief Nursing Officer.
Performs any and all professional nursing duties as determined by qualifications and training.
SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIESAs a representative of Springwoods Behavioral Health, all comments, attitudes, actions, and behaviors have a direct affect on the Facility's image and perceptions of quality service. Interaction with patients, family members, physicians, referral sources, affiliating schools, visitors, etc. must be in a manner that is friendly, supportive, courteous, respectful, cooperative, and professional. This behavior should promote an atmosphere of teamwork, which is congruent with facility standards and guidelines to promote positive relations.
QualificationsLicenses or Certifications
Current licensure and registration by the Arkansas Board of Nurse Examiners as a Registered Nurse. Current CPR, Verbal De‑escalation, and Handle with Care certifications, or must obtain within 14‑days bantuan hire. Successful completion of the American Nursing Association Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse program with credentialing is preferred retail.
Total Education, Vocational Training and ExperienceGraduate of an accredited school of nursing. Minimum five (5) years experience within the behavioral health field, including two years in a supervisory role preferred.
