Job Duties

The Sam M. Walton College of Business has openings for part‑time temporary adjunct lecturers to teach undergraduate courses. Applying for a part‑time adjunct lecturer position allows department chairs from across the College to access candidate materials when a teaching need arises throughout the current or future academic year.

The Department of Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Venture Innovation (SEVI) is a relatively new and growing part of Walton College. We offer a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master of Science in Product Innovation focused on product management, and a Ph.D. in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship.

SEVI students ultimately benefit because department faculty collaborate with many small and growing businesses headquartered in Northwest Arkansas.

Provide office hours for students as prescribed by the department chair and provide grading feedback to students in a timely manner and turn grades in by departmental and university deadlines.

Regular, reliable, and non‑disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. Regular on‑campus availability and in‑person teaching are essential functions and required for faculty members.
