Overview
The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville is seeking a non-tenure track Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems, Sam M. Walton College of Business. The expected start date is August 10, 2026. The position will teach six three-hour courses per academic year within Information Systems (programming, database, cloud infrastructure, and project management/development classes preferred), with a mix of face-to-face and online instruction as needed.
The position reports to the Chair of the Department of Information Systems and may involve collaboration on course development and leadership within the department. Regular on-campus availability and active contribution to departmental life are essential duties.
Teach six three-hour courses per academic year in Information Systems (programming, database, cloud infrastructure, and project management/development classes preferred). Collaborate on course development and potentially assume leadership roles within the Department of Information Systems. Maintain regular on-campus availability, engage in in-person teaching, and contribute to shared academic and administrative tasks with respect and cooperation.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:- Completed PhD in Information Systems from an AACSB-accredited business school
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching courses in information systems, analytics, or related areas
- Professional experience in information systems or a related field
- Documented excellence in teaching
