Overview
The Assistant Director of Master of Science in Operations Management and Master of Science in Engineering Management Programs works in the area of academic administration, development of faculty standards and mentoring, ensures compliance with academic development standards; monitors course quality, establishes course schedules and supervises assigned staff. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Minimum Qualifications- Master's or higher degree in business, industrial engineering, education, or management-related field
- At least ten years relevant experience
- Doctorate degree
- Knowledge of University systems
- Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills and problem-resolution skills
- Demonstrated word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to details concerning academic records, financial processes, and associated duties
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and demands in a high volume work setting
This position is renewable annually based on continued need for the position, availability of funding, and satisfactory job performance.
