Summary of

Job Duties

The Educational Leadership (EDLE) Program in the Department of Counseling, Leadership, and Research Methods in the College of Education and Health Professions at the University of Arkansas seeks a dynamic, innovative, collaborative, and enthusiastic colleague who will work with current faculty members in the preparation of K-12 leaders in the three graduate degree programs (i.e., school-level leadership master’s, district-level leadership educational specialist, and doctorate in educational leadership).

The program seeks applicants who have extensive experience as educational leaders at both the building and district levels. In addition, a successful applicant will have knowledge and skills related to connecting practice to teaching and scholarship. Applicants will be expected to hold a significant doctoral advisory load and serve as chair of doctoral-level dissertation committees. All three graduate degree programs are offered synchronously online.

While the courses are offered online, a consistent campus presence is expected to fulfill the other responsibilities of the position. These…
