This position is a tenured assistant/associate or full professor (depending on qualifications) that includes teaching advanced agricultural and food law classes, leading the Program with a vision for the future, producing scholarship to enhance the reputation of the Program, and meeting the expectations of a tenured faculty member (depending on qualifications).

• JD degree and significant expertise in a wide range of agricultural and food law subjects
• National reputation in the agricultural and/or food law community
• Ability to build connections across the food system, understanding the perspectives of the farmer, the manufacturer, the retailer, and the consumer
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• A vision for leading the LL.M. Program into the future, incorporating ideas for marketing, recruiting, and substantive coursework
• Teaching experience, either in the classroom or in professional service with demonstrated public speaking skills
• Excellent research and writing skills, with either published scholarship or a demonstrated ability to write effectively and a proposed research agenda for future scholarship

• Hold a law license and two years of practical legal experience
• Tenure-track teaching experience or experience as a visiting law professor or fellow
• Ability to interact respectfully, collegially, and professionally with all people at all levels of responsibility
• Comfortable working with students from varying backgrounds and perspectives, including work with international students
• Proficient with technology including computer and digital literacy as well as video conferencing
• Have a distinguished academic record
• Demonstrated administrative management skills
