The main responsibility of the Project/Program Specialist is to advise prospective and current students. Primary duties include, but are not limited to: new student recruitment; maximizing session enrollment, supporting applicants, advising students throughout their program until graduation, and communicating with staff and faculty to assist with student success.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, education administration or related field from an accredited institution of higher education
At least two years relevant experience in education administration, business administration or related setting
Experience working in a higher education setting as a student advisor or in a position with knowledge of university systems
Experience working with specific subsets of students such as non-traditional, military, international, or an equivalent
