Job Duties:
This is a standard nine-month faculty, non-tenure track appointment. Job responsibilities include teaching four courses per semester, serving on committees, participating in departmental decision-making, and performing other departmental, college, and university service. Subject areas include Colonial America, American Revolution, Civil War. The position reports to Department Chair, History, Social Sciences, Philosophy.
Qualifications:
Required Education and/or
Work Experience:
Ph.D. or ABD in History from an accredited institution of higher education. A master's in history with a PhD in a closely related field would be considered.
