The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, in Fayetteville, AR, is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist – Physician.
Ideal candidate is Board Eligible/Certified in Psychiatry

Candidates must possess an MD/DO from an accredited institution, have completed residency training leading to board eligibility/certification, and possess an active, current, unrestricted license in any U.S. State.
Highlights of this opportunity
- Daily schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
- Assessment/evaluation and medication management of veterans who suffer from a variety of mental health conditions, including, but not limited to Post traumatic Stress Disorder, substance abuse, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, and other related conditions.
- Educate staff hospital wide about psychiatric needs of patients; how to handle; what to expect; etc..
- Work with families of patients receiving psychiatric care
