Summary of

Job Duties

The Senior Graphic Designer serves as a key creative leader within Razorback Football, responsible for elevating the visual identity of the program across recruiting, game day, social media, and internal branding platforms. This position functions as the lead graphic designer and lead photographer for the football program while supporting the Director of Creative Media in creative strategy, content planning, digital content, production, and staff coordination.

The role requires a strong creative vision, advanced technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-profile athletics environment. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Photography, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrated experience in graphic design and photography, preferably within collegiate or professional athletics
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content trends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with football or high-level athletics programs
  • Video production and post-production experience
  • Leadership or mentorship experience with interns or junior staff
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and performance tracking tools

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Creative leadership and visual storytelling skills
  • Strong attention to detail and brand consistency skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
