Lead Cook – Clare County Jail
Position: Permanent Part-Time Lead Cook
Location: Clare County Jail, Harrison MI
ResponsibilitiesLead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean‑up.
Qualifications- Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment.
- Ability to read and follow company recipes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts — days and hours (between 8:30am 5:30pm).
- Clearance approval into the facility.
- Pay starting at $19.00 an hour for this location.
