Gas Engineer

We are recruiting a Gas Engineer to join our team in Aldershot
. Operating from our Basingstoke office, you will cover Aldershot and the surrounding North Hampshire area on a full‑time permanent basis (39 hours per week). You may need to travel to other Hampshire sites to support various teams. You will be provided with a company van and fuel card, participate in the emergency on‑call rota (with competitive rates), and have access to a performance‑related bonus scheme based on your on‑target earnings.

As a Gas Engineer you will carry out repairs, maintenance and servicing of domestic boilers and appliances in accordance with gas safety regulations. Your duties include:

• Identifying faults and testing controls to ensure equipment is fully operational
• Completing gas safety checks, preparing necessary documentation and adhering to guidance and regulatory requirements
• Interacting with customers, explaining safe use of heating and appliances, and providing excellent customer service

You should possess the following:

• CCN 1, CEN HTR (unvented) and CPA technical qualifications – you must provide proof at interview
• Current, clean driving licence (held for at least one year)
• Ability to drive a company van
• Knowledge of electrical work (essential electrics beneficial)
• Knowledge of safe on‑call rota procedures (background on competitive pay)

Additional checks: a satisfactory licence check and a basic disclosure check are required.
