Job Summary
As a Bank Band 6/7 Parkinson's Nurse Specialist, you will work as part of the HCRG Care Group Team in our Farnham Hospital Parkinson's service. In addition to attractive hourly rates of pay, you will benefit from the following:

Some of your responsibilities include:
- Provide advanced clinical nursing support for patients with complex long‑term conditions and/or elderly/frail patients
- Manage a caseload of high‑risk patients with long‑term conditions autonomously
- Collaborate with health and social care professionals to ensure continuity of care and reduce preventable hospital admissions
- Engage with innovation and tele‑technologies to support patient management
- Promote self‑management strategies for patients and carers through education and advice, reducing reliance on urgent services and promoting positive outcomes
- Registered nurse or practitioner with at least 3 years experience at Band 6 or currently at Band 7
- Experience working with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) or long‑term progressive neurological conditions
- Excellent communication and written skills to support independence and decision‑making
- UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for community services
- Passionate and enthusiastic about impacting the local community
- Essential:
Registered nurse or practitioner; 3+ years Band 6/7 experience;
Parkinson’s expertise; UK driving licence; strong communication skills - Desirable:
Additional neurological conditions experience; experience of tele‑nursing tools
