Finance Assistant – About

The Role

In this role, you will be working within a finance team of 3 and will reporting into the Financial Controller. You will be supporting with the daily running of the finance function and your key responsibilities will be:

Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner

Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable

Performing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies

Assisting with month-end close processes

Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting audits

Producing reports and analysis using Excel

Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required

The successful Finance Assistant will have:

Previous experience in another finance position

Currently or looking to study AAT/ACCA/CIMA

Strong Excel skills

Experience in using Xero would be advantageous

Ability to communicate at all levels
