Teaching Assistant – Term Time Only, Full Time
We require a Teaching Assistant to work term time only, 30.25 hours per week, spread over 5 days:
- Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 8:50 am – 3:20 pm
- Wed: 8:35 am – 3:20 pm
Pay scale WA4‑10 to WA4‑16 (£24,905 to £28,548pa for FTE; £18,000 to £20,634pa actual).
You will work under the direction of a teacher, supporting whole‑class learning or small groups, and occasionally providing 1:1 support.
We are a special school for secondary pupils from years 7 to 11 who have learning and additional needs. The Abbey School converted to Academy status on 1 September 2018 and is part of the Weydon Multi Academy Trust (WMAT). We were graded Outstanding by OFSTED in 2009, 2012, 201 and December 2022.
