  • Salary – S1‑3 dependent on experience. Term‑time only (39 weeks)
  • Contract – Permanent Part‑time, 1 day per week (with potential ad‑hoc TA cover)

All Saints is situated in Tilford, one of Surrey's most beautiful villages near the town of Farnham. We are proud to offer a supportive community where children, parents, staff and governors share a passion for learning and are continually building on our excellent practice. The ideal candidate would share this vision, support our ethos and deliver high quality teaching and learning to help all children believe they can achieve their very best.

Forest School at All Saints is well established and enjoys the use of a beautiful large mixed woodland area immediately behind the school. The site has running water and a permanent fire pit.

Forest School encourages children to use their own initiative and develop skills through a wide range of largely unstructured, hands‑on experiences. With the guidance and support of the Forest School Leader and assistant, children develop to become competent and more self‑sufficient learners. Pupils are initiated into leading their own learning, making full use of their creativity and imagination, whilst at the same time learning to love and appreciate the natural world in which we live.

We encourage a level of risk‑taking, always under close adult supervision, and actively foster friendships and collaboration between all children and adults present. Forest School activities are always designed to produce success and enjoyment. The aim is that all children feel secure and know that their individual contribution is valued.

We are proud of the high standards achieved by our pupils and are committed to all children achieving their full potential. In 2021 we were graded as good by OFSTED, and in December 2017 we were again graded as outstanding by the Guildford Diocese under the SIAMS process.

We would like to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Forest School Leader to work part‑time for 1 day a week (Wednesday) from April 2026. There could also be the potential to undertake some other ad hoc TA work if desired. You will be working with a Forest School Assistant.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to visit the school to see our wonderful Forest School facilities. This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
