Coordinating Authorised Person - Scotland

Our client, a prominent player in the defence and security sector, is seeking a dedicated Coordinating Authorised Person to join their team in Scotland. This permanent role offers the unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in partnership with some of the most brilliant minds in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing and providing guidance to site Authorised Persons in planning activities related to specialist discipline and area
Coordinating statutory compliance for JSP 375 Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) delivery across regional sites
Monitoring and reviewing performance, tracking trends, and escalating issues to the Senior Authorised Person regarding JSP compliance
Ensuring robust application of health, safety, and environmental regulations, procedures, and processes
Ensuring work is prioritised appropriately, raising issues to site Estates Delivery teams to maintain asset safety and compliance

Job Requirements:

Experience in a similar role with a demonstrable background in electrical systems
Proven track record in Health & Safety and compliance
Current Authorised Person (AP) Certificate in one or more JSP disciplines (e.g., HV/LV Electrical, Hazardous Areas, Mechanical Systems, Confined Spaces)
IOSH / NEBOSH Qualification
Full clean driving licence
Eligibility for SC clearance
