The Town of Farmville is accepting applications for a full-time Laborer II.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and experience in heavy manual labor, equipment, and vehicles. Experience in concrete work is preferred. Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) designation and good driving record.
Performs heavy, moderate to semi-skilled manual work involving the maintenance of cemetery and park properties, trash collection, streets maintenance, and water and sewer maintenance. Uses common and specialized hand and power tools, as well as large equipment.
Salary negotiable based on skills and experience.
