Urgent Care DVM – Farmington, UT
An established urgent care veterinary practice is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to support after-hours care for canine and feline patients. This role is designed to bridge the gap between daytime general practice and emergency hospitals, offering focused urgent care without overnight shifts or emergency-level case burden.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide compassionate, relationship-based care to urgent care patients and their families.
Diagnose and treat common urgent presentations, including wound care, gastrointestinal illness, ear infections, and end-of-life services.
Collaborate effectively with technical staff and clinical leadership to ensure efficient patient flow.
Maintain accurate medical records using cloud-based electronic medical systems.
Support a low-stress, Fear Free–oriented clinical environment.
Contribute positively to team culture and community engagement.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an AVMA-accredited institution (or ECFVG/PAVE equivalent).
Active veterinary license in the state of employment, or ability to obtain licensure.
Interest or experience in urgent care or same-day medicine.
Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.
Clear, professional communication skills with clients and team members.
