Monday thru Friday: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
ResponsibilitiesManages the Collections department and maintains an open line of communication with the VP of Risk Management on any pertinent items. Responsible for hiring employees, annual reviews, scheduling, training and monitoring the work of collectors. Acts as the secondary point of escalation for Collections department. Helps with members’ needs, questions, and concerns. Preserve the credit union's assets by controlling delinquent accounts, collecting delinquent loan payments, and recovering collateral.
Other duties consist of contacting delinquent accounts by phone and mail and taking appropriate action to bring current. Analyze financial situation of delinquent borrowers and take action to repossess collateral if necessary. Assist with developing department processes and procedures. Testify at legal proceedings as required and other duties as assigned.
