Summary
The Davis School District is accepting applications for Elementary Administrative Interns for the school year. We anticipate both full-time and part-time positions. These internships provide aspiring educational leaders with the opportunity to work closely with experienced administrators in a dynamic school environment. Priority will be given to applications submitted by November 28, 2025. Please note that individual school internship openings are not announced separately, and current administrative interns do not need to reapply.
Description
Position Overview
As an Elementary Administrative Intern, you will gain valuable experience in school leadership while working under the guidance of a school principal. This role is ideal for those who are looking to support school leadership and have a passion for supporting student success in a collaborative school community.
Key Responsibilities
•
Collaborate with the school principal in the day-to-day management and leadership of the school.
•
Assist in aligning school operations with the policies set by the Board of Education and the superintendent's direction.
•
Contribute to the improvement of instructional practices and support the implementation of the district's curriculum.
•
Help manage student discipline, attendance, and other student-related matters, ensuring accurate documentation is maintained.
•
Foster a positive school climate by effectively addressing concerns from students, parents, and the broader community.
•
Attend and supervise various school activities, events, and meetings as required.
•
Assist in conducting performance evaluations for both classified and licensed staff in accordance with district policies.
•
Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the principal.
Qualifications
Education:
•
Current enrollment in, or completion of, a school leadership licensure program. Applicants must complete the administrative program by August 1, 2026.
•
Must hold a current educator's license.
Experience:
•
A minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as a licensed educator. Preference of five (5) years of successful experience as a licensed educator.

Three (3) current letters of recommendation (none being from your current supervisor)
•
Transcripts from your university graduate program
•
School leadership license, or evidence of anticipated completion (must finish your administrative program by August 1, 2026). If you do not yet have your leadership license, attach a copy of your current teaching license.
Step 3:
Submit your application prior to November 28, 2025, for priority consideration. Please ensure all information is current and documents are uploaded as separate files (resume, transcript, each letter of recommendation).
