SummaryAs a Landscape Crew Member, you will be an integral part of a team responsible for maintaining and beautifying outdoor spaces. You will work under the direction of a supervisor to perform various tasks related to landscaping, such as mowing, trimming, planting, and general grounds maintenance. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for creating visually appealing outdoor environments.

Responsibilities- Grounds Maintenance:
- Perform regular lawn mowing using push mowers, riding mowers, or other equipment as assigned.
- Trim and edge lawns, sidewalks, and flowerbeds to maintain a neat and manicured appearance.
- Remove weeds, debris, and litter from landscaped areas.
- Prune trees, shrubs, and hedges to promote healthy growth and maintain desired shapes.
- Planting and Mulching:
- Assist with planting flowers, trees, shrubs, and other vegetation according to landscape plans.
- Spread mulch, soil, or other planting materials to enhance soil quality and moisture retention.
- Water newly planted vegetation as needed and adjust irrigation systems as directed.
- Landscape Enhancement:
- Participate in seasonal clean‑up projects, including leaf removal, snow removal, and winterizing irrigation systems.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
- Adhere to local regulations and environmental guidelines related to landscaping practices and chemical usage.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and handle chemicals according to manufacturer instructions.
- Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Physically fit and able to perform strenuous outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors and experienced crew members.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required for certain positions.

Operational SkillsAbility to operate most small engine equipment used on a daily basis, including but not limited to:
Zero Turn Riding Lawn Mower, Walk-Behind Lawn Mower, Line Trimmer, Steel Edger, Trencher, Hedge Trimmer, and Skid Steer.
