Registered Nurse - Med/Surg (Full‑Time)

Full‑time Registered Nurse candidates for the Med/Surg opportunity will have the following job responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment & Monitoring:
  Conducting physical exams, recording vitals, and identifying changes in condition.
• Clinical Care:
  Administering medications (oral, IV), managing IV drips, changing dressings, and inserting catheters.
• Surgical Recovery:
  Preparing patients for procedures and monitoring them post‑operatively.
• Documentation:
  Accurately maintaining patient files, charts, and progress notes.
• Education & Communication:
  Teaching patients/families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions, while coordinating with doctors.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Adhering to infection control and hospital protocols.

• Candidates must have at least 2 years of acute care experience for the unit they are applying to.
• Candidate resume must show Nurse Practicum and have all experience in MM/YYYY format.
• Candidates must live outside 100 miles from facility.

• Relocation bonus:
  Available depending on relocation area. 1 year commitment minimum.
• Sign‑on bonus:
  Candidates with less than 2 years experience, $10,000. Over 2 years experience, $25,000. 2 year commitment in order to receive full bonus.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS required upon submission. All other required certifications can be obtained after hire; please refer to Life Support Certification document in attachments.
• Licensure:
  Open to candidates who do not hold New Mexico or Compact licensure. Candidates must obtain prior to start.
