Interventional Cardiologist is needed for a growing cardiac service line with BJC Medical Group based at Parkland Health Center located in Farmington, MO, just a little over an hour from St. Louis. Join 2 successful Interventional Cardiologists, 1 Invasive Cardiologist and 2 Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers with a huge referral base.

This position is J1 eligible through the DRA. We have sponsored J1s for this location with 100% success rate.

• Manages the medical care of patient panel by providing or arranging inpatient hospital care for physician’s patients, including regular hospital rounds or coordinating with hospitalists or other qualified physicians per Medical Staff requirements.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and care team members to ensure excellent patient care outcomes at the clinic location(s) designated by BJC and any other BJC clinical outreach location as needed.
• Performs and documents medical histories and physicals in the patient’s medical record as required by hospital medical staff bylaws.
• Provides or arranges for call coverage for clinic patients and inpatient call coverage in a manner acceptable to BJC and in accordance with Medical Staff bylaws, while observing all BJC policies and procedures and applicable legal, ethical and professional standards.
• Collaborates and teaches advanced practice providers, support staff or care team members assigned to the physician’s patient panel.
• BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
