Cardiologist, Medical Doctor
BJC Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join the expanding cardiology team at Parkland Health Center in Farmington, Missouri. Located approximately 90 minutes from St. Louis, this facility offers a supportive environment with state-of-the-art technology and exceptional opportunities for mentorship. Job Responsibilities- Provide both inpatient and outpatient cardiology care at Parkland Health Center.
- Perform cardiac catheterizations, PCI, Cardio
MEMS, and peripheral vascular procedures. - Enjoy a newly renovated cath lab with dedicated procedural time.
- Participate in a 1:4 call schedule (one night per week and one weekend per month; minimal call-backs).
- Collaborate with 2 Interventional Cardiologists, 1 Invasive Cardiologist, and 2 experienced APPs.
- Option to perform device/pacemaker implantations (a plus but not required).
- Utilize EPIC EMR for clinical documentation.
- Participate in program development and community outreach initiatives.
- Receive excellent mentorship for recent fellowship graduates.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
- Completion of Interventional Cardiology Fellowship.
- Missouri medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA certification.
- Clean malpractice/license history (highly preferred).
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
- Current DEA certification.
- Completion of Interventional Cardiology Fellowship.
- CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start.
