Parkland Health Center includes a full‑service acute‑care hospital in Farmington and a three‑bed critical access hospital in Bonne Terre serving residents of St. Francois County and surrounding southeastern Missouri. The physician will provide professional medical services within the practicing specialty through direct patient care and will spend additional time as necessary to perform related duties such as completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations, inbox management, conducting patient‑specific education and collaborating with advanced practice providers and the care team.

• Manages the medical care of a patient panel by arranging or providing inpatient hospital care, including hospital rounds or coordination with hospitalists in accordance with Medical Staff requirements.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and care team members to ensure excellent outcomes at the clinic and any BJC outreach location.
• Performs and documents medical histories and physicals in the patient’s medical record as required by hospital bylaws.
• Provides or arranges for call coverage for clinic patients and inpatient call coverage in accordance with BJC policies, procedures and Medical Staff bylaws, while observing all legal, ethical and professional standards.
• Collaborates with and teaches advanced practice providers, support staff, or any care team member involved in the care of the physician’s patient panel.
• Maintains a constant state of alertness and performs safely; this is a safety‑sensitive position.

• Doctorate in Medicine

• No specific supervisor experience required

• Board eligible or board certified in the practicing specialty
• Licensed physician

• 2–5 years of experience in nephrology
