Caretaker, Cleaning Services, Maintenance Worker

The Emery in Farmington, MN is currently looking for a part-time Caretaker for overall cleaning of the apartment building inside and out. Applicants must be available to work Monday
-Friday (Part-Time), 20 hours per week.
Must be available as needed for apartment turns.

• Daily, keep all glass surfaces clean and common areas clean and vacuumed.
• Keep all assigned interior and exterior areas clean and free of debris by sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Keep the community rooms clean for resident’s use, as well as public restroom and fitness room.
• Clean all apartment turnovers in the agreed-upon time frame, typically between the last day of the month and the first day of the month. Apartment turnover often occurs within a 24‑hour period.
• Assist in delivering notices, watering plants, shoveling snow, pushing in trash dumpsters as needed, emptying trash containers inside, large containers outside and in the dog park, cleaning garage as needed, and any other duties as assigned by the Manager.

• Previous housekeeping or caretaker experience is preferred.
• Must be a team player and communicate daily with office and maintenance staff as needed.
• Candidate should be organized, punctual and pay attention to detail.
• Must be able to work independently and complete general work duties in a timely manner.
• Must be familiar with cleaning products and their various uses.
• Must be able to operate a carpet shampooer machine.

Compensation:
Starting at $20 - $22 per hour depending on experience. Expected

Hours:

20 per week.
