Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Support intern to join our team at Headquarters in Farmington Hills, MI. The IT Support Intern is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the IT department with the upgrading and deployment of computers and mobile devices, including cell phones, hotspots, and tablets. A successful IT Support Intern must have a foundational knowledge of technology hardware and a willingness to learn.

Strong attention to detail, the ability to follow established processes, and a customer service mindset are essential for ensuring devices are properly configured and delivered to employees in a timely manner.

Responsibilities and

Job Duties:

* Provide responsive level one IT support to employees on a variety of technology issues.

* Configure, deploy, & maintain new Windows computers and peripherals.

* Maintain and update employee asset inventory.

* Deploy employee mobile devices including cell phones, hot spots, and tablets.

Required Qualifications:

* Familiarity with setting up Personal Computers and installing software.

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to people with a variety of skill sets.

* Independent problem-solving and critical thinking.

* Self-motivated desire to continuously build knowledge and skills.

This position is a member of the Information Technology Team reporting to the IT Help Desk Supervisor.
