Field Service Technician

Kelly Engineering seeks a skilled Field Service Technician to join our client's team. In this role, the Service Technician installs, troubleshoots, and repairs the company's CNC Machines at client sites.

** Qualifications / Experience*
* + Strong electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills.

+ Experience diagnosing and repairing complex machinery or automated equipment.

+ Ability to interpret technical documentation, schematics, and service manuals.

+ Excellent communication and customer service skills.

+ Organized and detail-oriented with strong reporting and documentation abilities.

+ Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

+ Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs without assistance.

+ Ability to pass background and drug screening

** Responsibilities*
* + Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain professional communication with clients.

+ Diagnose and repair equipment in collaboration with the internal/external team members.

+ Utilize visual inspection, diagnostic software, and electronic tools to troubleshoot issues.

+ Read and interpret repair manuals, schematics, and work orders to guide repairs.

+ Clean, replace, install, and align machine components to ensure optimal performance.

+ Accurately document and report machine conditions, repairs, and service details.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including applications, sales, engineering, and production.

+ Provide on-site customer training for machine operation and maintenance.

+ Support and assist other Field Service Engineers as needed.

+ Participate in ongoing factory training and contribute to improving technical documentation.

+ Work independently while adhering to all company and safety standards.

+ Travel up to 100% (mostly regional and national when needed).
