Postdoctoral Position Available in Skin ResearchA postdoctoral position is available in a NIH funded laboratory with interest in mechanisms of wound healing, specifically keloid formation.
Candidates must have PhD, MD/PhD, or MD or equivalent and must be highly motivated.
The successful applicant will have strong background in SKIN RESEARCH, wound healing, fibrosis or inflammatory disorders with technical expertise in induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), immunology, cell biology or signal transduction.
Our newly renovated laboratory is embedded in the Department of Regenerative Medicine and Skeletal Development at University of Connecticut Health within a vibrant research environment.
Candidates must be innovative, enthusiastic and have a solid technical background in at least one of these areas: molecular biology, cell biology, stem cell biology or signal transduction. The successful applicant must be motivated and capable of engaging in other areas of expertise as required by the project. The dynamics of this research project requires the ability for multitasking, to work independently as well as collaboratively with other lab members and external collaborators.
