Role OverviewThe Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machines to perform machining operations on both solid and porous metal materials to close tolerances. This role also includes fitting and assembling components as required to meet production and quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesMachine solid and porous metal products to detailed specifications.
Machine high‑purity porous metal products while meeting strict quality standards.
Straighten and round porous metal products as required.
Meeting high‑purity visual and cleanliness requirements.
Demonstrating flexibility to change tasks and reprioritize work as needed.
Meet established production rates for cutting tubes.
Maintain job transaction accuracy greater than 80%.
Manufacture parts that comply with dimensional and visual quality specifications.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical school training or 1–2 years of manufacturing experience in machining.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to read blueprints.
Basic math skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to accurately read measuring equipment.
Detail oriented.
Pleasant, constructive attitude.
Strong team player.
Eagerness to learn.
Well organized and proactive.
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing environments.

Total RewardsThe compensation range for this position is $42,500.00 - $63,700.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
