Press Machine Operator

Overview

We are seeking a press machine operator for a manufacturing company in Farmington, CT. The ideal candidate will have some experience operating press machines (Minster press machines a plus). Candidate must be able to read and understand blueprints. Previous experience as a press machine operator is required.

• Operate Minster 100-Ton Press
• Read and understand process plans and work instructions to determine machine set-up, material requirements, production expectations, safety and quality guidelines and requirements.
• Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions.
• Report any needed maintenance or operational difficulties.
• Stack, mark, and/or package parts as directed.
• Properly fill out and understand labor tickets and labels as directed.
• Follow all Company rules and policies.
• Keep work area(s) clean and orderly.
• Assist set-up personnel as directed by Supervisor.
• Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate and necessary.
