Summer Custodial Intern

Available to work July 1 – August 31, 2026 (up to 4 days per week)

Hours:

8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Salary: $16 per hour

Qualifications:

Must be a rising senior of Hightstown High School

Job Requirements:

• Ability to read, write and understand work‑related directions/instructions with sufficient skill to perform all required tasks and write basic reports as required.
• Demonstrates strength and manual dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks including ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Cleans classrooms, corridors, furniture, windows, walls (including graffiti), fixtures, lockers, blinds, chalkboards, etc. according to written schedule.
• Moves furniture, equipment, supplies, books as required.
• Empties trash/recycling receptacles of various capacities, transports large receptacles to outdoor dumpsters.
• Cleans and disinfects all restrooms, water fountains, sinks, urinals, basins according to written schedule.
