Insurance Litigation Partner / Senior Attorney

Location: On-Site - Connecticut Practice Area: Insurance Litigation / Civil Defense

The Opportunity

A high-volume Connecticut litigation practice is seeking a senior insurance litigation attorney or partner-level candidate to join its team. This role is ideal for an experienced litigator who wants leadership responsibility and earning upside without the pressure of bringing a book of business.

The firm has more work than existing staff can absorb and is looking for a seasoned attorney who can immediately help shoulder the load.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Approximately 8-10+ years of litigation experience
  • Active Connecticut Bar license required
  • Massachusetts admission is a plus
  • Strong background in insurance litigation or related civil defense work
  • Comfortable handling matters independently and mentoring junior attorneys
No book is required.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee insurance litigation matters
  • Take lead on strategy, motion practice, depositions, and court appearances
  • Provide guidance and support to associate-level attorneys
  • Maintain high standards of client service and work product
  • Assist with trial preparation and case resolution
Compensation Structure
  • Base Salary: Approximately $150,000, commensurate with experience
  • Plus: A percentage of earnings generated from work handled
  • Meaningful upside potential tied directly to productivity
  • Benefits package included
