The Learning Management System Specialist will be responsible for ensuring an optimal Learning Management Systems (LMS) experience for all users by partnering with customers to plan, launch, and manage educational offerings. The LMS Specialist will play a key role in supporting the success and functionality of the system by offering best in class tier one support and overall maintenance of the LMS.

Responsibilities include but, are not limited to:

* Provide tier-one technical support through the regular and ongoing monitoring of the internal ticketing system.

* Manage and prioritize and provide immediate resolution to all (Problem) tickets assisting and supporting course/class/assignment builds as needed.

* Recognize, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the build, configuration and/or infrastructure in the LMS.

* Make recommendations on future improvements to standard work, content management, workflow processes and user experience.

* Utilize identified issue resolution process to report and work through system issues with designated LMS vendor.

* Perform regular maintenance protocols based on standard work to ensure the LMS is organized, courses are updated, and content is relevant.

* Work with SMEs and Clinical Educators on yearly assignments ensuring courses are reviewed, assignments recalibrated, and student groups reflect current demographic data.

* Participate in system-wide initiatives to create job code standardization, categories and job families to streamline the creation of student groups.

* Develop educational activities, resource guides, and other tools using adult learning principles to improve user experience with LMS.

* Educate employees and leadership about LMS through training, quick reference guides and email communications.

Education

* Bachelor's Degree required

Experience

* 1-3 years of experience as a learning management system administrator including, authoring, publishing and reporting, or in learning technology or information technology

* Proven skilled use of virtual learning and meeting platforms, Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Learning Management Systems
