The Financial Analyst supports the finance organization by providing accurate financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and business insights. This role partners closely with sales and management to support decision‑making, improve financial performance, and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
Key Responsibilities Financial Analysis & Reporting- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Support the month‑end and year‑end close processes by analyzing account activity and ensuring data accuracy.
- Develop dashboards and management reports to support business performance reviews.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Provide financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- Partner with sales, operations, and other departments to analyze cost drivers and profitability.
- Develop price, volume and mix analysis to help support commercial margin execution.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and controls.
- Assist in documenting and improving financial procedures and processes.
- Utilize ERP systems, Excel, and BI tools to extract, analyze, and present financial data.
- Support enhancements to financial reporting and planning tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related finance role.
- Experience in a manufacturing or commercial environment preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP a plus.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High level of integrity and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Office‑based role with standard business hours.
