Job Title: Bookkeeper - AR/AP Bookkeeping Specialist Location: Farmington, CT (On-Site)
Pay: $20.00 – $26.00/hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (Flexible Start Times Available)

Dunning Industries Inc. has been serving Connecticut for a century. We provide the aggregate materials, custom soils, and hardscapes that build our state—from residential driveways to massive government infrastructure projects.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. If you are organized, good with numbers, and looking for a stable office role within a respected family business, we want to hear from you.

• Accounts Payable (Money Out):
  Process vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and verify documentation. You will build relationships with our vendors to resolve any billing discrepancies.

• Accounts Receivable (Money In):
  Process customer invoices, monitor aging reports, and kindly but firmly follow up on overdue accounts.

• The Books:
  Assist with monthly and year‑end financial reporting, maintain accurate transaction records, and file documentation.

• The Team:
  Collaborate with our operations team to ensure billing matches the materials delivered.

• The
  
  Experience:
  
  2+ years of bookkeeping experience, specifically handling AR/AP functions.

• The Software:
  Proficiency with accounting software is required (Quick Books experience is a major plus).

• The Industry: Experience in Construction, Manufacturing, or Landscape Supply is preferred (you understand high‑volume invoicing and materials).

  Strong attention to detail. You spot the penny that doesn't match.

  Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred, but experience counts for a lot.
